Experiential Learning Institute

Athensmade is dedicated to connecting students and faculty to business experiences through Meet Up Events, Networking Opportunities, Speaker Series and Career Pathways. These activities will help support pop-up courses, course projects, internships, apprenticeships that connect the education and business communities.

We are working with the University of Georgia, Piedmont College, Athens Technical College, the University of North Georgia and secondary schools in the Athens/Clarke County area to understand our community’s experiential learning needs, working in three stages.

The Experiential Learning Institute (ELI) is a unique program, developed here in Athens after months of studying community need. Our intent is to develop within two years a best practice model that other, similar communities will emulate.
