Emma Holman

Emma Holman is the Director of Annual Giving for the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, which recently wrapped a $120M building campaign for new, state of the art facilities on campus. In this role, she travels across the country meeting with alumni of all ages and fields of business, reminding them of Athens and their experiences as students on campus.

With Georgia roots in Vidalia and Sandersville, Emma’s experience in fundraising dates back to her days as a college student when she worked as a student caller for Auburn's phone-a-thon campaign. Since that time, she has sharpened her skills through her work at the American Cancer Society, planning and executing large-scale fundraisers. In addition, she has extensive volunteer and community service experience in this arena. Emma has held leadership positions with the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, The 1919 - Athens Regional Health Services Young Professional Board, the Junior League of Athens, Friends of DFCS and LEAD Athens.

As a 2007 Auburn University graduate, and someone with a background in healthcare fundraising and sales, she never imagined she would find herself working for the “SEC enemy” at the business school, but it was the love of Athens and its business community that sold her on a role at the Terry College where she has been since 2014.

Emma is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Athens. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and hosting elaborate dinner parties with friends, and pretending that she knows how to play golf.
