Social Lab Update
Athensmade had a great turnout for Wednesday's Social Lab on personal branding by Alice Stapleton. The third installment of The Social Lab will return to Creature Comforts Brewery on August 23rd featuring a round table discussion about Facebook for business with speakers from Creature Comforts, Avid Bookshop & more.
Sons of Sawdust Co-Founder and Creative Director, Shayna Hobbs, opened the series to a crowd of 100 Athenians on June 28th with a discussion of the local wood-rescuers’ overwhelming success with Instagram. Sons of Sawdust’s 131,000+ followers hang on Shayna’s every image – the photos like an eye into the fascinating interworkings of a rapidly growing business that has captured sponsorships from Carhart & Ridgid. Other sessions of the Social Lab will focus on popular outlets such as Facebook and Twitter as well as emerging media trends like podcasting.
